Back in March of 2019, the Ford Taurus officially ended production. The Taurus had a long and successful history in the United States with thousands still on the road today. The SHO was one of the most underrated performance sedans on the market. It was a so-called “sleeper” that could keep up with V8 Dodge Challengers and Chevy Camaros. Unlike the Dodge Charger, Ford in the final years of Taurus production did not have much success selling one of the most popular sedans of all time.<\/p>\n
However, we are speculating that there might be plans to bring back a Taurus-like car. The Mach-E (or the Mustang) could be the basis for such a vehicle. This sedan would resemble the current Mustang but come in hybrid or electric form. The wheelbase would likely be extended and the profile would be much sleeker compared to the chunky Taurus.<\/p>\n
