New tech making its way to the 2021 Ram 1500?
Mopar Insiders has broken the news that changes for the 2021 Ram 1500 are coming. The 2019 Ram 1500 debuted in January of 2018 and has seen consistent updates (like the new split tailgate) throughout its short lifespan. We now know that a few more features will be added to next year’s truck.
A new camera system that is compatible with tow mirrors will be available. It will sport a 360-degree view just like the 2019 Ram Heavy Duty. Originally, this feature was only available with the standard mirrors. Also, the 2021 1500 will get a new LED third brake light that will likely be compatible with a camera similar to the Ram Heavy Duty, which has had that option since 2013. An all-new feature that will debut on any Ram pickup will be a trailer steering knob. This looks to be similar to what the current F-150 has.

It looks like 2021 will be a big year not only for off-road fans but also for those in the market for a truck that has an abundance of towing features. The 2021 Ram is expected to go up against the new F-150 which is expected to debut later this week.
